Love! Jack and Jin’s is a small, casual, and accessible Thai restaurant that makes delicious and quick meals with a large menu and something for everyone. The food wasn’t greasy or heavy (like fast food Chinese is) and they adjust the spice level to suit your taste. I am very excited to try them again!!
Took 2 of my sisters out for their first taste of Thai! We were all heaed to the Hot Air Balloon lauch & it was rained out so I took them for some comfort food..lol I was very impressed as I am used to eating it in FLand havent been able to find a reataurant near me! You have to try their Pumpkin Curry, it is out of this world delicious! Its a small clean lil reastaurant where you can have a nice conversation w all the noise. I will def be going back but I will b trying the Mango Curry next & Mango sweet rice! Ty for great service & a wonderful meal!
If you enjoy small, intimate restaurants with authentic cooking that tastes amazing, you will LOVE this place. However, be patient. The woman who owns the restaurant does it all on her own (except during the lunch hour rush and busy evenings) but it is so worth the wait. Try the Mango Curry. It’s delicious!
Exquisite!. The food here is clearly made with love. I visited recently with my sister and brother-in-law (they’re local, I’m not) and was very impressed. I think the food I ate would stand up well in any city in the country. The fresh summer rolls are simply to die for, with complex flavors that you don’t always find at typical Thai restaurants. And my pumpkin curry was terrific. The other diners had D(r)unken Noodles and Pad Woon Sen, both of which were very tasty too. I’m going to vote to go here the next time I visit Findlay!
All in the family. If I learned anything from The Facts Of Life is that you have to take the good with the bad, so get ready. This food is good. The Pad Thai, our own beloved national dish is fantastic, so sweet and savory. If you order the dinner portion, you will get your money’s worth. It is HUGE. The Pad Khee Mow is good. it leans to the sweet side where this eater wants the smoky and savory. The red curry, which I have had twice now, is very good. It leans to the awesome. The creamy coconut sauce is so good that it holds up the tower of white rice. Try it with chicken. OK that is the good. Now the bad. A rhetorical question: how many times can a man go into a Thai restaurant and there is one lone dude cooking, serving and running orders to go? Three. How long can a man wait for Pad Thai? 20 minutes. Why do I do it? See the above. The food is good. Decor? Lacking. Thanks Jack and Jin.
