I had no experience with Lee’s Chicken prior to moving to Findlay…. but I am well versed with other fried chicken chains. 🙂 The best way I could describe Lee’s Chicken is to say that it’s as if Popeye’s and KFC had a baby and named it Lee. The quality and flavor are better than KFC, but it’s not quite as good as Popeye’s. It is inexpensive and reliable and good for a quick meal pick up.
Colonel, I’m coming home!. Right in the middle of Findlay is the secret recipe bragging Lee’s Chicken. Lee’s claims to be related to the Colonel but even Harlan Sanders would not condone the chicken at this place. The staff is pleasant and in High School. The chicken is leathery, uninspiringly spiced and distasteful to look at. the saving grace may be the fried pickle spears but hardly make for the cornerstone of a restaurant. Go to KFC instead.
