Max & Erma’s seems to be a quickly fading chain. We’ve had good times at them and we’ve had bad times at them. It’s a standard chain menu, food, and service. I’d place them slightly under Applebee’s on the food hierarchy of chains. Don’t go in expecting magic or to be wowed, but they hold their own and food is typically good. (I’m a fan of their salads.)
