  Easter lamb chops. I ordered a dozen and a half (18) lamb chops for Easter. I didn’t know how big the chops would be, so I also told Miller’s I was having 4 adults and 4 children under the age of 10. I often tell Great Scot’s the number of people and they help me determine how much meat to have. I often order nice cuts of meat for special holidays and birthdays for my family. When I picked up the chops the bill was $205. It was in a hamburger box that you could see in and was sealed. I was surprised by the price of course as it’s not everyday I spend $205 on one meal just for the meat. I put the meat in my refrigerator and we opened the box Easter morning to prepare for lunch that day. There was 28-30 chops, all not trimed very well. We probably cut off a few pounds of just fat, which of course I paid for! My husband and I were both surprised by the amount of meat. I had no idea as I couldn’t see in the box when I purchased. It was more than twice what I ordered, or wanted. Now I know I said about 18, but 30 is well beyound that, and the size of the chops were very large for lamb in general, which of course I didn’t know since I couldn’t SEE them. I was very disappointed that I gave the experts the information about how many I was feeding and they took advantaged of the situation and doubled my order claiming it’s what I asked for. Which of course was not the case in my opinion. They are the meat experts, they saw the size of the chops, they knew how many adults and children, and they left the chops untrimed. I just don’t want anyone else to pay more than twice as much as what you should for a nice meal. I wont be doing business again. It will be Great Scot’s from here on out.
