I went to the Cafe Creekside on a Sunday around 1:30 no wait. But the open table was dirty. Waited 5-7 mins for someone to come clean the table. Waited another 10 minutes for menus. Ordered breakfast items. The food took a long time. When the food came out it was cold. Service was bad. food was cold.
Great homemade food. Eat breakfast here most Sundays. Be prepared to wait because they get busy.
More To Be Desired. We found out that they offered Sunday Brunch and read some of the reviews. They said to go at 9:30am. So two weeks ago we did. It was posted on multiple windows that they had Sunday Brunch from 9-2pm but the door was locked and no one was there. No sign on the door.We decided to try it today. When we walked in we were not greeted and we just chose our own table and sat. We waited a few minutes and were still not greeted. We got plates and helped ourselves to the buffet. We ate our food and had yet to be greeted or have drink orders taken. Finally a server walked over, cleared our plates and walked away. Didn’t say anything or ask about drinks. Finally, we flagged down a server and got drinks and our bill. I had a Entertainment Book Coupon that said valid anytime but they said I couldn’t use it on the buffet even though there was no fine print to indicate. Aside from the bad service, the food was mediocre.
Breakfast. Since I am away, living in Germany, I come every time I am at home with all my friends to the Creekside Cafe for breakfast. So are this time, and as always the food was delicious and the staff friendly as the last time.Thanks again, I am sure we will be back many times before I fly back to Germany.Isabella, Annie, Albert, Henry, Kim and the rest of the gang :-)))))
Good food, fast and friendly service, cool location. One of my new favorite breakfast joints!
Peacefully Good. Every year when the weather breaks enough to eat outside, I make it a point to spend some time at Cafe Creekside sitting on the deck overlooking the creek watching the world go by with friends or a good book. Life slows down here so it’s not a place to expect speedy service. It’s a place to relax savor the day with good food and a very nice staff of fritndly people who really will remember you from year to year.Once seated today, my smiling server brought a small basket of baby muffins along with my coffee and water. I usually order breakfast, but this time I had the club sandwich on sourdough which was very tasty. I highly recommend the eggs benedict for a breakfast choice. The hollandaise is wonderful. I’ve tried may of their dishes over the years and I’ve always been happy with their food. I always forget to take pics of the food but I am putting up a couple of pics of the beautiful view from my table.
..only if you’re a fan of greasy american diner grub. There is really nothing else i can say about it. greasy. decor is terrible. shoddy service. very very disappointing.
