Friendly & Fun!. Great place to eat, drink and hang out! My Fav is the Gatsby’s Sub. I get it lightly toasted!The wings are not the skimpy little ones ~ I like the Jim Beam BBQ and sometimes mix it with hot to jazz them up.Newbies and regulars mix and everyone becomes a friend. Good music outside on the back patio almost every night in the warm months.If you go twice, you’ll become a regular!
TSnider. Gatsby’s is a very friendly place to hangout and eat. I have tried several of the menu items and have never had a bad meal or bad service. The subs, Gatsby’s burger, and barbecue chicken pizza are my favorites.
Great Place. Been going to Gatsby’s for several years and considered a regular. Have trouble going anywhere else due to the people that work there. It’s kinda like to the old TV show Cheers where eveybody knows your name… Great Food and friendship yes thats what is really is all about. The Fried Bologna Sandwich is my favorite and of course the pizza, as a matter of fact it’s also available in North Naples too…
GATSBY’S PUB FAVORITE. My favorite sandwich from Gatsby’s is the Gatsby’s Sub, extra meat. With all the fixins and their special dressing. I live in California, and come back to my roots in Columbus occasionally, and when returning to the airport to return to Ca., I always try to make Gatsby’s extra meat sub IN MY BELLY for the flight. It is my first choice of food when I arrive as well. It is pretty difficult to find any subs here on the west coast to compare. They are around, but not the atmosphere of Gatsby’s. My FAVORITE restaurant/bar in the area.
Excellent. Went in with a group of 15 last friday night. Service & Food was great. They were extremely busy but the server was Great. Recommend the PIzza.This was the third time our work group got together at Gatsbys. Go Bucks!
Why I love Gatsby’s in Gahanna. We have been coming to Gatsby’s for several years and I’ll tell you why. First, it really is a friendly place. We love the people. But that just adds to the experience. The food is really good. For instance, right now, they offer 5 lunches for $5 before 5 pm. Its’ their 5 for 5 b4 5. I ordered the Jim Beam BBQ chicken sandwich which comes with an onion ring and bacon on it. WOW. So good.Their wings are the best around because they actually cook them to order. I like mine on the crispy side, and I get them naked with sauce on the side. Again, WOW. And they are not little skimpy wings. At 8 or so per pound, they have some real meat on them. The burgers are large and juicy. The pizza is some of the best in the mid-west. Which is saying a lot because I am from NJ. The only thing I say is cut your pie like a pie! No squares for me. But Gatsby’s listens and gets it right when I order a pie actually cut like a pie!
False Advertising. I will never eat at Gatsby’s again! We had a party of 4 this past Saturday night & attempted to use our Entertainment coupons for buy 1 get 1 Entrees. The server only took $5.00 off, so I questioned it. The server clearly didn’t want to get the manager or owner (I’m not sure which) & he wasn’t friendly in the least! He announced that we should have told the server we had the coupon when we ordered after he admitted there was a misprint on the coupon. The coupon stated buy 1 entree get 1 free. At the bottom of the coupon it said, for you pizza lovers you can get 50% off a pizza for a max of $5.00 off. There is no way anyone would have thought you only got $5.00 off the Entree & the manager said the coupon was misprinted. We would have eaten there if they had posted the coupon on the door & said it was misprinted, but I don’t like not being told, but then expected to pay more. The manager or owner said, you should have said you have a coupon when you ordered. Why should I have to? I never do that anywhere else! Gahanna Grill had a misprint on their coupon last year & they posted it on the door & we still ate there & had no problem. The manager/owner also announced that there no longer is anything for $5.00 on the menu, so it’s really false advertisting, as you can’t even get anything 50% off for a max discount of $5.00. The service was okay, but nothing special. We were overcharged on the bacon, had to ask for silverware, had to ask for our lettuce, onion etc on the burgers, had to send the bottom buns back on 2 of the burgers, as they were soggy, fries weren’t too hot & my friends $2.00 pop was empty for 15 minutes before she was asked if she wanted a refill. Once I knew the manager/owner wasn’t going to make good on the coupon, as took the $7.00 tip off the table & the server had the nerve to say, was something wrong with the service, as I notice you aren’t leaving me anything. Are you kidding me? WHAT NERVE! She then told me it wasn’t her fault about the coupon, but it was her fault that she made it so clear she wasn’t happy about getting the manager/owner for me to complain about the coupon. She even said, I took the bacon off like she did something great when you was the one that overcharged us. I told her, I can’t leave you a tip when I’m getting ripped off! She said, I’m sorry I have to work here for a living. I then said, get your tip from your jerk boss, as he’s the one ripping me off. My friend was leaving the tip, so it wasn’t even my money. I will never eat at this crap hole again!!!!!!!!
