Mouthwatering Nomminess!. Everytime my Fieance and I go to Koko’s we try something different. We love the atmosphere and the lovely smells that are always welcoming to there. I love having the Bubble Tea and the Coffee is devine too. The cupcakes and all the other lushious deserts are amazing 🙂 A recommendation for anyone to try 🙂
Out of this world!. Koko Tea Salon & Bakery is so addictive. I love the icing on the cupcakes because it’s not real rich or overly sweet. Their variety of cupcakes all make for a pleasant experience. My favorites are lavender berry, salty caramel, and just good ole plain vanilla or chocolate. Delicious! I also ordered heart-shaped iced cookies for my son for Valentine’s Day. He loved them! We shall return!
BEST EVER. I no longer live in Gahanna, but stop by once every two weeks for a tea and a cupcake. Koko’s is seriously addicting and there is an endless variety, the selection is never exactly the same each time I go in. The owner and employees are always so pleasant and helpful, and the store is the cutest thing I’ve ever seen. Despite the large selection of bakeries in Columbus, Koko’s will always be my first choice.
Seriously the BEST cupcakes we have EVER had!. On advice from a friend I stopped into koko to get one of the red velvet cupcakes I kept hearing about- so glad I did! It is without question the best cupcake I have ever had! I believe it is the flavor they were on food network for. They also had macarons which are my favorite thing in the world and the pumpkin one was so incredible! I tried the tea sample they had- it was lemon cream or something and I loved it and I don’t even like tea, lol! I was really blown away, it is rare that you go to a place and love everything they have! This is a place not to be missed and the shop is adorable as well!
Mostly Excellent but….. We bought some of these for a coworkers birthday last winter and we were blown away. The peanut butter is fantastic and the Madagascar Vanilla is perfect. Took a friend there in the spring and enjoyed the tea variety and tried a couple more flavors. Fantastic. House looks like a doll house inside and would be a great place to do fun photos.But… took a couple other friends for a treat last week and was disappointed. They got vanilla and I got the Red Velvet and the flavors were way off. Seemed to be in the icing – kind of savory. I know what cream cheese icing is like but this tasted way off. One of my friends couldn’t finish hers. We had them take-out so weren’t able to go back before closing. I will be a little more cautious in the future. I hope we can have a better experience next time – otherwise I’ll go across the street to the Chocolate Tree!
I’m coco for Koko’s!. Where do I begin?!? My family and I started going to Koko’s because we heard they offered gluten free cupcakes. Now, we continue to go because the cupcakes, coffee and tea are second to none! They are the best cupcakes this celiac has ever had in his 14 years of being gluten free. As a friend, I recommend you try this place…Koko’s is different in the way they treat their customers and create delicious treats. It is just a matter of time before this place really takes off, NOW is your chance to help contribute to the success of this wonderful establishment! I will continue going to Koko’s as long as I live in the area. If I move away on business, I will negotiate a deal with Ava to get weekly shipments of my koko’s to my new location!
The BEST cupcakes and tea ever!. I am a recent transplant from Cali where cupcakes are HUGE and I am an addict 🙂 Didn’t think I could find that quality here, I was WRONG! The cupcakes at Koko are the best I have ever had hands down! I really can’t believe how good they are- I had the berry with lavender, my friend had the chocolate with peanut butter and my sister had a coconut one- they were all incredible! The fact that they use all organic ingredients is such a plus too. The shop is adorable- it looks like a little french doll house and the staff is sooo nice- we sampled the red velvet cupcakes which they were on the food network for and a lemon tea that the owner won an award in Japan or China, dont remember, for which was the best tea I have ever had. Seriously, this place could move to Cali and take down Sprinkles and Crumbs! Absolutely check it out- you won’t go anywhere else!
