While visiting my son, we decided to try out Los Gauchos. It is an authentic taqueria, except for the way they cook the al pastor pork. I could not gat a picture, but it is an incredibly large spit of nest that resembles the meat you would find in a gyro shop. When I say incredibly large, I mean the size of a normal adult. This is reason enough to stop in. The food was very good. No real service as you order at a counter. No fountain drinks (dropped a star), I had the tacos. My family tried the burrito and a different menu item that included pineapple. Th burrito was HUGE and probably the best item. Sauces were on the spicy side – so be warned if not a fan of spicy food. I thought the meat was bland without the sauces. I would definitely try it again.
Went here today for lunch, I got two tacos al pastor and one chicken taco. My husband got the steak burrito. We both thought they were good but when you added the onions and peppers (in a marinade) that are in the bowl on the table they were really good!!! So if you just ate them as they came I could see someone not being too impressed but add the onion mix and it really adds a great mix of flavor!! So try it if you are there!

Authentic Mexican. This is not Tex-Mex, or American food. It is AUTHENTIC Mexican food. I read the reviews of people who didn’t like this place, and realize they would probably be better off going to Taco Bell for the kind of food they want.The food and drinks are delicious, authentic, and the Spicy Fish Tacos are VERY spicy (but really good!).

I might be missing something with this one, but I did not enjoy it. My husband ordered some tacos that were the size of my palm and tasted like straight cilantro, nothing else. His burrito was bland and unsatisfying. My burrito was soaked in grease and coated in what appeared to be Velveeta nacho cheese. I did like how they gave us a giant bowl of sliced limes and another of habanero peppers mixed with red onions. Never experienced that before, but it was nice (I happen to love lime juice on most Mexican foods). Other than that, no reason to go back to the glorified taco truck. I could see how this food might be considered awesome if you were excessively drunk.
We stopped here for lunch on a whim. We had recently noticed it had replaced a Gyro place we had gone to in the past.The menu was quite a variety of tacos, quesadillas, tortas, and burritos with your choice of steak, pork, chorizo, tripe, beef tongue, or chicken. You can basically have them build whatever you want.My wife (who is much more adventurous than I) had the tongue quesadilla and loved it. I am much more a picky eater and had the steak quesadillas. They were great.Took a few minutes for the food to be prepared, but that reinforces that everything is made fresh.There were fresh sauces and peppers at the tables. Place was very clean. Prices were very reasonable. They had a kids menu.This is now on our go-to list of places close to our house. Give it a shot – you won’t be disappointed.
