The absolute BEST authentic meal I’ve ever had in the Columbus area. The owner & cook we met were very welcoming & passionate about their new endeavor. The guacamole, shrimp & agave margarita may have been prepared by Jesus himself back in the kitchen…. seriously, it was that delicious!
Great food!. My only complaint against this dining establishment is that now I have to wait to get seated. More and more persons are finding out that the best kept secret in Gahanna is on Stygler Road. My wife and I have enjoyed a variety of the entrees and all have been excellent! The margaritas are potent and the chips and salsa are tasty. I enjoy the hotter salsa just ask and they’ll bring you some. The staff is friendly and tends to your every need. We’ve dined at this establishment nearly 10 times and each time the food is outstanding. I’d recommend you visit Mi Tradicion but don’t make me wait for a table!
Tiny, but Awesome food and service. Discovered this little gem just last month, and have been 6 times. Salsa is about the best we have had, lots of flavor, a little spice! Love the carnitas, Chimis, Buritto Blanco, cheese dip. Literally everything we have tried has been really good. Servers are friendly and love the smallness of the place, very homey and cozy. Dying to try deserts, but usually way to full, the portions are huge. Best Guacamole I have ever had. Its small, but mighty good food!
Absolutely loved this place. Eaten there twice in three days. I’ve been hunting for a good Mexican restaurant in Columbus for the past seven months with no luck (see my reviews for Abuelos, Los guachos, el vaquero, jalapeo loco, etc). Until I checked out Mi Tradicion. I rate Mexican restaurants based on three things; salsa, all other food, and service. 1. Salsa- homemade, not very spicy, but hot sauces are on the table. Very fresh tasting. Chips were also fresh and not overly salted. 2. Food- chicken was moist and flavorful, steak was delectable, sauces are delicious and creamy, rice is excellently seasoned, refried beans are fabulous, overall supremely happy with the food. 3. Service- very attentive, manager/owner came over to our table to greet us and brought us a free sample of queso and a complimentary margarita (I normally don’t care for lime, non-frozen margaritas, but this one was fantastic, great balance of tequila and sweet) He encouraged us to come back for happy hour! When we returned two days later, he recognized us and remembered our fondness for the Choriqueso. Overall, in love with this restaurant. Visit as soon as you can!
Best Mexican Ever!. All Mexican food has tasted the same to me up until I had Mi Tradicion. I went with my fiance and we have went back twice already! This is the best Mexican food I have had hands down. I highly recommend the grilled chimichangas. YUM! The rice and margaritas are amazing as well. My fiance is a big fan of the Mi Tradicion Quesadilla.
SIMPLY THE BEST!!!!. Go here for FRESH MADE HIGH QUALITY Mexican Cuisine!!!! It is superb. Highly recommend the Barbacoa tacos and the Agave Nectar margaritas. Laid back neighborhood atmosphere and clean as a whistle. If you want bland run-of-the-mill slop, then go elsewhere.
Awesome makeover. Upon entering this Mexican establishment on opening day I noticed and appreciated a great improvement with the dcor and the hard work and effort that went into it. The food is just as fantastic. Everything we ordered was hot and fresh. The owner and staff were very attentive. We will be back!
