  Bartenders are very nice and quick with your orders but domestic beers are about twice as much as anywhere else. This place defines dive bar which I normally like but to charge almost twice as much as nicer taverns is ridiculous

  User reviews. Used to be great food. Last couple times it was horrible. The last time we went anything fried had a burnt taste (like the oil was old). I also got the BLT and I could have made a better one at home. Can’t beat the cheap beers though.

  Good Food. Brought my family (son 22 y.o. & g/f 23 y.o) for dinner on a Friday night b/c my hubby heard the burgers were to die for. It is an older establishment (dive) but was comfortable. We sat in the back game room which was perfect for us besides the dining room was just about full. The waitress greeted us and got our beer orders and then another waitress told us of the a.u.c.e cod fish special and the homemade lobster bisque. My hubby and I got the cod and lobster bisque, my son and his girlfriend got a burger and loaded fries. Our fish was very good, the coleslaw not so much (who cares), and the handcut shoestring fries were very good. The lobster bisque was also very good (I have had better) it had chunks of lobster meat and was served in a larger than normal bowl. The burgers were excellent and the loaded fries were really good but there could have been more of them. All in all it was a very positive experience and we are already planning on returning with friends.
