This is the first time I’ve eaten a meal at Youngs. I’ve had the ice cream before and it’s always good and worth the drive. We ate dinner there tonight too. I got the fried chicken sandwich with some buffalo cheese curds. The sandwich was about as good as you would get from a bag of Tyson’s frozen tenders. I was able to get sweet chili sauce on it which did help make it pretty good. The cheese curds were great but I didn’t taste any buffalo sauce on them. I think it was forgotten or just really light. Overall it was a fine meal but the ice cream is still the reason to go here.
We have enjoyed Young’s; Dairy after dog events for the last 15 years, down the way, this is a very special place for family and groups you really need to take the trip and experience the food and Ice Cream! Some of the best ever!
Nice to have breakfast until 2 pm everyday and excellent ice cream, too.. It was my second time going to Young’s Jersey Dairy. The first time I had only ice cream. This time I decided to have breakfast because The Dairy Store at Young’s serves breakfast until 2 pm everyday. I had the John Deere with pancakes, 2 eggs (scrambled), and choice of meat (sausage patty). That was a great breakfast for lunch. I like how they grilled the sausage patty with the grill marks like their burgers, and enjoyed their pancakes and eggs, too. I quenched it with Diet Pepsi. After I ate breakfast; I sampled almost every ice cream on the book. Then I settled on seasonal flavor Cow Patty (yummy) and my all time favorite Cookies and Cream. The employees at Young’s were great and even turned on the television on the cow’s belly inside The Dairy Store. It is very affordable to eat breakfast, lunch, or dinner while having some of their excellent ice cream, too. Go for their ice cream all day, and breakfast until 2 pm.
My grandson seriously would never leave.. It was a rainy august gay,… oops I meant to say day! My backspacer is broken. Anyways, it was a rainy day and my son received a large hankering for some iced cream. I drove him there in a personal best time so I thought that i would be a good trip to this dairy. When we arrived, my grandson Geran ran straight to the batting cages. I could tell he was very very very excited for hitting the ball. Once his round was FINALLY over….it seemed like a millenium….he would not leave. I immediately became distraught and started balling my eyes out. I screamed and pleaded for his return but he just stood there with a blank stare on his face. He was like four feet away from me!!! After waiting a couple hours, I grew hungry and went in for a helping of mountain dew. Figuring Geran would still be there, I took my time like any soda lover would do. When I went back to beg for him to just open the batting cage door and go home with me, he was standing behind the pitching machine. He hasn’t left since. Its May. I often bring him iced cream but he still hasn’t left. This place is a nightmare.
I love fried cheese curds, could eat them all day. The Farmall breakfast was good and I like any place where I can get breakfast for lunch. Finished off the meal with a scoop of chocolate p-nut butter ice cream, which was fantastic. Will definitely be back!
Seems like forever ago. We went a couple years ago to get some Ice cream. Saw some guy with a hoodie and sunglasses on trying to be inconspicuous but everyone was pointing, whispering, and getting autographs. Turned out to be all star celebrity comedian Dave Chappelle trying to quietly get his local Dairy fix. Poor Dave.
Great ice cream. A wonderful 25 minute drive from Dayton. The ice cream is always delicious with so many flavors available. There is a huge staff (of teens) behind the counter to serve you. It is a family place and has events year round to entertain the hundreds of thousands of visitors they receive each year.
