Nice atmosphere, mediocre food. I’ll start with the good; The spicy lobster sushi roll was delicious. The build-out and decor were very nice and modern. Beyond that there isn’t much to talk about. I’ve been to several teppanyaki style restaurants in Columbus so that’s my frame of reference. The California roll was just meh, my steak was overcooked, the scallops were undercooked, and everything else was just average. I tasted the chicken as well and again, just so-so. We were there to celebrate my step mom’s birthday, and our chef forgot her chicken. I could tell he was very sorry and he apologized profusely, he also had the kitchen whip up a portion to go for her at no charge so it was a nice gesture, but still unfortunate. Other than that one slip up though our chef was very good; skilled and entertaining. The music they play during their performance is distracting and tacky though. There are better options in Columbus so I can’t say I’d go back.
