A good ole neighborhood place- obviously with lots of regulars, but they were nice to us anyway. My breakfast companion had an omelette that was huge- lots of stuffings with bacon, green peppers and cheese. I had the corned beef hash (again a large portion) with eggs over easy. OE eggs are tricky- someplaces cook them too long with no runny yellow, some not enough where the whites aren’t set. These were done perfectly. Other than a little slow on beverage refills, service was good. We’d return if we were on that side of the county again.Not fancy, just good.
Best in Grove City. My wife and I have looked for the best diner breakfast – today we found it at Lilly’s. Service was outstanding. food was prepared perfect, large portions, fresh and everything you could want in breakfast. The coffee was weak, but that is apersonal preference. Lilly’s is a diamond and our new favorite!
Lilly’s now has a new menu with build your own skillets! Very tasty, worth returning for.
After driving past this place for months, we decide to give them a try. We were pleasantly surprised by food that was more than simply a greasy spoon, dive joint. Staff was super friendly and even got my 2 year old to smile. Everything was clean and well maintained. Good coffee. Great onion rings. Food was all nicely seasoned, although, my sandwich was a bit grisly. Seemed like a real, honest community mainstay. Felt comfortable and welcoming!
We came to Lilly’s on a whim and we are very happy that we did. If you like diner food then this is your place. We ordered breakfast and it was great! We split the Lilly’s Original and my daughter got the Breakfast sandwich. Great food and great prices! We will be coming back
This is good old-fashioned diner food. I’ve had breakfast and lunch, by far, better than any chain restaurant. The gravy and biscuits aren’t the best, but everything else is good. Try the daily specials, good food at a good price.
We picked Lilly’s this morning to support a local business near our home. We choose badly. Overall experience was disappointing. The food was decent. The biscuits were stale and the gravy didn’t improve the matter. Now for the service, I’m not sure what the staff was in a bad mood for, but they seem to be taking at out on the PAYING customers. Our server had to be told that her table had customers sitting there. She looked at us twice before coming up to the table. Then once the food the served she grabbed her purse and left as the place was on fire. The other wait staff who passed ads that fell from the newspaper, made the comment that she wasn’t going to pick them up. And for the third red flag, one of the cooks was out on the dining floor in ear shot of customers that he wasn’t going to train the new person. Its very hard for us to support a local restaurant when the staff doesn’t act like they care or happy the see paying customers. We won’t be going Bach and recommend that you consider another place over Lilly’s.
