Waitresses. Are good
Not good. We went for lunch today and the service was lousy and my food was not good. My partner had a breakfast meal and really enjoyed it. I had a salad and a piece of apple pie. We both had coffee. The coffee was bland and watered down. It had zero flavor. It tasted like the grounds had been used twice. My salad was iceberg lettuce, some onions, cheese, and salty greasy croutons. Nothing spectacular. The pie, what I had been looking forward too, was awful. Clearly not made there. Clearly not made from scratch. The pie was a dutch apple so there was no top crust but there was a crumble on top. The crumble was mushy and gummy. The crust was very gross. It tasted like it had been frozen, thawed, refrigerated and then microwaved. In fact I know it was microwaved because it was warm. But this pie had not just come from the oven…no way. It was not at all flaky. It was terrible. I could not eat it. The waitress took our order, gave us our food, and then never came back. We could not order anything new or even add a glass of water because she never returned. I was very disappointed in this diner and will not be returning.
