Overpriced Happy Hour! Charged $3.75 for domestic beer! Burgers are BLAND! Don’t waste your $$$. Went to anderson location for happy hour. Not very good specials. Waitress told us it was $2 domestics. We ordered bud light and mich ultra. Only to find out we were charged 3.75 for the mich ultra. When manager came over she said Mich Ultra is not a domestic beer. They are WAY TO OVERPRICED and seriously need to look into what they are charging for beer. Ultra is a domestic at EVERY other restaurant in town. We left and went down the street to BW3 and got a 24 tall Mich Ultra for $2. Manager was smug when I called her on it. We will make sure we tell all our friends to avoid your overpriced establishment.
Fish swimming in grease. I had the turkey club and it was very good. My wife had the fish sandwich and it was so greasy that the bread soaked it in and she had to use a fork and scrape the crust off and eat it like that…. Not impressed
We went for the burgers but there was a very pleasant surprise. We tried to go to Arthur’s a couple of weeks ago on a Saturday night. It was so busy (45 minute wait) we decided we would try somewhere else. It did look good enough that we went back with other friends on Saturday for lunch… good choice. burgers… very good crab soup… very good fries… good brownie… indescribably delicious I don’t usually get desserts when I eat out but our friends decided to split a brownie. It looked so go my wife and I split one too. Every once in a while I find a restaurant with an item that I like so much I do take out for just that single item. I can see do take out for these brownies going forward.
Poor service. First time there – we asked for soup and dinner and asked for the soup prior to dinner. Waited and waited and waited and finally get the soup set down on the table only to be followed by the dinner??? Second time there – everyone (six of us) ordered drinks – wine and tea – and another waitress brought out the drinks minus one wine. Could never get the attention of our waitress to ask again for the wine. Finally after a while, our waitress takes our order and I remind her about the wine. Then after about 15 mins, the waitress is taking the order of the table behind us and we get her attention and she waves me off. Then comes by the table and tells us that she is not ignoring us but there were no fresh wine glasses ??? and she was letting an ice cube melt in the one so that the glass is cool for the wine to pour. So finally after about 35 mins the wine was brought to the table (everyone else was finished) with no apology or to say that the wine was on the house or anything.Needless to say, we will not be back.
Not worth your money there are much better salads and sandwiches elsewhere….fish and chips are great if you enjoy Van De Kamps
The Best Burgers In Anderson. I ordered the Buckaroo Burger. It came with cheddar cheese, bbq sauce, caramelized onions, and bacon. It was cooked to order and tasted awesome. Everything about it was great, even the bun. As long as Arthur’s is around, I’ll probably never order another burger from anywhere else on the Beechmont strip again.
