Overpriced. The barbeque is good, no one could call it bad, but take out for four costs $50 from a strip mall family joint in Colerain? We got two pulled pork sandwiches, one pulled pork platter and one half slab. The portions were barely adequate, the wait was twenty minutes, and the applesauce and green beans were from a can.

Pleasantly surprised. Hands down best bow from an unlikely source. And you thought KFC was finger licking good. Art’s bbq makes the babies lick there fingers.

Do not miss this BBQ!. I am always on the hunt for good BBQ and let’s face it, the pickings are slim here in the Cincinnati area. So after reading the good reviews about Big Art’s I headed out with a certain degree of skepticism. I have been disappointed before by ribs that were either dried out and tasteless, or boiled and candied (you know who I am referring to here). Big Art’s is the real deal. In fact I’d say the ribs there stand up to the best I have ever had anywhere at any time. I got a full slab ($22) and devoured every morsel from end to end. The extra hickory open fire grilling that Art gives his BBQ before serving really does seem to add a smoky crispiness that I have not seen before. There are no BBQ sauce choices, but Art’s main sauce as delivered on the slab is majestic.Sides are excellent; golden brown yeast rolls, zippy cole slaw and smoky-sweet baked beans were all fantastic. We tried the cajun fried potatoes and those were a little greasy for my taste, but OK. I didn’t see corn bread on the menu, which might be a good addition. They serve beer by the bottle, draft might be nice.My take? Big Art’s serves the best ribs in the Cincinnati area, hands down. Restaurant is in Mt. Healthy Heights on Struble Road, maybe 5 minutes from I-275 but well worth a road trip if you are a BBQ lover. Highly recommended.

I’ve been here many times and I personally am a huge fan. I would recommend it highly!

WOW!. The food is great! It is a small little nothing of a place on the outside, but the inside is colorful with local history and Cincinnati team memorabilia. The minute you open the doors your nose is tantalized by the smell of smoke and BBQ. All of their food is made fresh the minute you order so there will be a bit of delay. If you have time for a culinary experience and patient children, then it is worth the wait. The rolls were freshly made and the coleslaw. We loved the coleslaw! The BBQ is very sweet so if your diabetic you may want to have them leave off the extra sauce. The meat was so tender. We ended our meal with their one of a kind Orange creamsicle cake. It was big enough for us to share. It was light and dreamy. The best way to end your meal.

Don’t drive by…. After a Sunday bike ride this was a fantastic find. Thanks to everyone who took time to comment and led us to this taste treat.Great wings to start with, then could
‘t resist the ribs. So glad I ordered the whole slab, as I now have tomorrows lunch to look forward to. My wife had the fried cod, fresh fish, perfectly cooked. Delicious all round a big thumbs up for taste and value.
