  Absolutely Awesome Place. I shop at Bridgetown Finer Meats because my parents have been shopping there since I was a very little kid. If you’re looking for top notch product and excellent service, with a smile, this is the place to go. You always get great product there, from the cuts of meat, to lunchmeat, to the homemade salads and frozen prepared items. The employees are awesome with customers. They are very friendly, helpful and call you by your name which is a detail that is not duplicated anywhere else I shop. I appreciate the fact that ALL of the employees get to know their customers. It makes for such a pleasant shopping experience. It is a unique place and I look forward to shopping there for many, many years to come. If you’re on the westside and are looking for a top notch butcher/catering/produce/wine store to go to, do yourself a favor and stop in.

  Questionable service and overpriced. I just moved to the west side of town recently and decided to stop in Bridgetown finer meats and see what they had to offer. The products seemed to be in line with what you would expect from a local shop quality wise but the service was poor. Especially since there were twice as many employees working as customers in the shop. Yet, I still couldn’t seem to get service. After finally receiving service I decided on a cut of beef at $6 a pound and requested they slice it down for me. At this point the owner told me its an extra $2 a pound for them to slice. That’s a 33% mark up for something that every other butcher shop as well as grocery store meat counter in town does for free. I politely inquired about the practice to which the owner basically gave me a rude that’s to bad and why don’t you go there then response. Needless to say I wont be going back. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. The employees seem fairly nice but the owner is a real jerk and that’s where the money goes.

  Finest meat shop on the west side. I have been coming here since I was knee high and the place has just grown over the past many years. Same ownership and great ambience. This is the only meat shop to go to on the west side and that is saying something since there are more meat stores on the west side than bars, well almost. They make a lot of prepared foods that are outstanding. I really enjoy their jambalya. Plenty of sausage and shrimp it in and plenty spicy. Their homemade blue cheese dressing is quite good and I am not a fan of blue cheese dressing. They also have a nice produce selection right next door and the meat case is stocked full of fish too.
