Not my type of place – but good. The food was decent and the service was wonderful. I went there to hang out with my boyfriend’s family, but this is not really my kind of place. We went during March Madness and, while the game was on, it had your average sports bar atmosphere – no complaints. Once the game was over, however, they put music on so loud that we couldn’t even communicate by shouting. I got the turkey Ruben on a pretzel bun with a side of carrots and the sandwich was really good. The side was just half a plate of baby carrots, kind if meh. The service was fantastic, we had 2 waitresses helping us and they were both incredibly pleasant.
The food is nothing impressive but you wouldn’t go here for the food. You come for the beer, just get it from the bottle and not the tap. The bartender and manager had no idea the nitrogen was out and they were serving flat beer. Next on tap: skunk beer.
Stupid extra charges. My sister ordered a chicken wrap like she always does each time we go there. The wrap comes dry, so she always asks for ranch dressing on the inside. Before there was no charge. Now, they charge .50 to pour a little dressing on the inside. It’s pretty sad when there is a charge for a condiment that should come with any sandwich or wrap. She will bring her own from now on. Perhaps business isn’t good so they have to charge for whatever they can. Ive never been to a place that has these extra hidden charges.
Awesome. If you are thinking about going to take 5 go a little further up the street to bucket heads. Bucket heads staff is much friendlier and they make sure you get what you pay for. They have a variety of food and everything I have ever order has been perfect.
