  Wow. Dirty floor ignored service even customers sweeping under their own tables! I hate saying so but geez. How hard is it to offer good service. They got a 2 boy because the food was still good.

  Not one waiter looked/said anything to me and my friend when we were sat. We were there for 10 mins and had multiple waiters go past us. The other table a few from ours got waited on, even though we were there before them.

  Below was emailed to Cheddar’s online and I received an acknowledgement stating that they would review and respond, but no response has been received by phone, mail,or email. I will update this site should we get a reply in the future from Cheddars’ corporate on this issue/concern with their response.Hello we celebrated a birthday last week with 2 couples, including our 2 grown children and their dates; total of 12,(8 at table and 4 in adjacent booth); was a nice visit, long wait for food to come out, but we were not in hurry;(we have eaten 3x before and 2x in past at Florence). Niece in town for bday from St Louis so we suggested Cheddar’s as you are new to her. My wife and one daughter ordered lunch combos; Caesar Chic pasta salad, both arrived with standard Cesar salads(no pasta).I had 1/2 club with soup, arrived no spoon/only had fork/knife. Waitress took back salads and my wife started eating her 1/2 club. With 3 bites left she found a 1/3 of toothpick in her food, (pulled from mouth was a top third of toothpick with blue frills intact); was not the full toothpick which she removed prior to eating. She was concerned she may of ingested more as the other part was missing,and felt her sandwich was crunchier than last weeks. Diedra reportedly took it to the manager and she did offer an apology, which we were nice about it and did not blame her. She brought out the other 2 salads after a long time and left again to find me a spoon for my soup,(my 1/2 club was long gone). She stated the toothpicks may of been crisscrossed, when we asked how it happened; However my 1/2 of sandwich from both weeks only had one toothpick, as well as my wife’s from last week, (and this pick was out of site and was horizontal in between the bread). Most importantly no one,(manager or kitchen staff) bothered to check on my wife or even offer any type of an apology or explanation to the issue. I paid the $73 and tipped her $13. Our portion of bill last week was similar in amount. We are very concerned as my wife was still upset and worried that she ingested the other portion of the toothpick and could not enjoy the rest of her meal. I on the other hand am more concerned with the lack of responsibility of the manager or chef on this issue, not taking the incident seriously enough to take 2 minutes to check on her and show they cared. We would of liked to of heard on how this happened and what steps they are taking to prevent this issue in the future. No apology no empathy no explanation on what happened. Server did ask my wife about comping her sandwich however my wife stated she was more concerned about how it happened, and that it wouldn’t happen again to others. Well I paid the bill and they didn’t comp her meal, and more importantly that they did not take this potential issue serious either. So now I am concerned and have grown more dissatisfied after no one from cheddar’s seemed to care about their customers well being or dining experience . How would you feel if your loved one experienced this type of issue maybe a brillo pad will be found in the soup next time? I am requesting a follow up on this issue. Thank you.

  This place is great if you want to sit at the bar and not listen to loud children. The food is awesome and generally the wait staff are very friendly. I plan on returning again.

  Service was absolutely horrible, waitress only came by our table twice…We ordered steak both of which were dry, overcooked and tough, food was cold. The chicken fingers weren’t done. And we even got short changed. Will not be returning to this restaurant

  Some of the worst service I have ever received at a restaurant! Went once when they first opened, and food was OK. Price was right up my alley. The next time I went, we were seated after about 25 minutes, the waitress came and got our drink order, and NEVER CAME BACK! We waited for another 20 minutes for our drinks, which were only fountain drinks! We actually wound up walking out, our waitress saw us leave, and never said a word. Do not go to this location!

  Food, Prices, Service – Three Strikes, you’re out. Ate there this afternoon and the only thing I liked was the croissants – 3 3-bite affairs for around 4.00. Started out with queso. Very little cheese flavor and none of the other spices there should be in a good queso. I’ll concede its probably a bad idea to order queso dip and chips at a restaurant that doesn’t specialize in mex or tex-mex foods, even one named after a cheese. Two at our table ordered steaks, and both were overcookedChicken fingers weren’t bad, just unremarkable.My food came out cold and had the look and feel like it’d sat for a while before pickup, which made sense since it arrived more than a half hour after we orderedServer charged us for a drink ordered with a child’s meal when a child’s meal includes a drinkWon’t be returning
