Customer service. I’ve had way worse customer service in the city with other Chinese joints. This ones not too bad. Requested a carry out and it was ready in 10 minutes.
Worst Chinese we’ve ever had!. The customer service over the phone was horrible…extremely rude!! Was as if I was putting them out by calling to place an order…several sighs and attitude of being annoyed. Do not order from here. If you risk it, be careful how you order as they will charge you ala carte for everything. Delivery was quoted as 30-45 minutes but took an hour and 20 minutes. Lo mein had a funky taste…we threw it all out.
Have gotten takeout that I’ve picked up from here 4 or 5 times over the past 2 years and have always been quite satisfied. Also have ordered with others from work for delivery with no problems. Dining room is not very inviting.
Poor customer service. Took an hour for delivery only to find part of the order missing and they gave part of somebody elses order. Took another half an hour to get rest of the order. By this time the food was cold. They should have at the very least brought fresh food so that it would have been hot. We spent $25 plus another $5 for tip for cold food that we couldn’t eat. They did absolutely nothing to rectify this problem I will never order from them again.
Consistently good food. Friendly staff and good food. I do recommend checking your order before you leave because they have forgotten things we’ve ordered on multiple occasions (our orders are usually large). One time, I called from home and they gave it to me free next time. On another occasion, they actually called me as I was driving home so I went back to pick it up…got some free cookies for the trouble. Otherwise, great takeout food. Also, I like that many dishes come in 2 sizes so you can get a small if you’re not going to share.
Once you get past the crazy…. I eat China House fairly often since they deliver to my house which is a huge plus. Sometimes you want delivery that is not pizza. Their Lo Mein is great and they have never once messed up my order. You do however have to speak to the crazy lady that answers the phone and treats you like english is your second language.
