Great surprise! We stopped in just for drinks a while back and we were blown away by the food! We went again tonight and it was just as good. Is place is much more than a place to get wine, it’s great for it all!!
SOMETHING DIFFERENT; We came here to celebrate a friends birthday. The wine tasting room is very nice. Many choices to try, and great place to stand around and talk before dinner.Dinner menu plentiful. Great choices. Overall I was very pleased with my experience.PS for non wine drinkers, they have a good beer selection too.
The service and food are always excellent and today was no exception. Our server stayed on top of things without being intrusive. I love that service at lunch is geared towards getting you in and out without feeling rushed. I had the Chicken Saltimbocca and it was very good. My friend had one of the flatbread/salad combinations and that will definitely be on my list to try next time. The flatbread was crispy and thin without being like a dried cracker. Flavor was excellent.
Disappointing!. My wife and I were amongst a party of eleven that dined here Saturday April 18th. For us, this was our second visit to Cooper’s Hawk. We both arrived separately and after everybody else. I was treated well at the Host Desk – my wife , very much less so. Whilst our server was amicable, I do not rate the service at Cooper’s Hawk to be anything above average, even after our table received a complimentary bottle of wine to compensate for the prolonged wait for our meals. As for the food, it was a hit and miss affair. MOSTLY a miss ! My wife had Shrimps and Polenta. The shrimps were rubbery and the polenta oversalted. My dish of Spaghetti and Meatballs was cold around the edges. I decided to skip the Desserts but had a bite of a friend’s Banoffee Pie. It was sadly underwhelming ! Which is a shame because I do not yet know of anyone else serving Banoffee Pie in Cincinnati. It really is a simple thing to make well. So overall, we find Cooper’s Hawk to be disappointing and shall not ever return.
This is a chain, which means it loses something by trying to be too big. Nevertheless the food and service are excellent
Cooper’s Hawk Winery and Resteraunt. My wife and I had a very nice meal, the service was very good. My wife likened her seafood meal to a recent trip to Florida, where we had fresh seafood. Wine, meal and service was very good.
