Great Beer and People. I went here on a recent Saturday while visiting a friend who moved to Cincinnati earlier this year. We sat down and ordered a flight which got there quickly and was made up entirely of great beers. They were so good that we drank them way faster than our original waiter could get back to us. Eventually the very pretty waitress stopped by, apologized for the wait and explained a large party had come in after us. She was super polite and took a new beer and food order, taking time to explain the different beers and explaining the punch me in the eyepa I ordered was currently being served English syle at room temperature (which actually allows you to detect more flavor notes) and had been infused with watermelon. The beers got there quickly and were delicious. The food did not get there so quickly, but when it did it came with an apology for the delay and even despite our protests it was comped. Great service! We ordered another beer and split the sandwiches. My friend got the pork sandwich which was really good. I got the veggie club which was probably the best veggie sandwich I’ve ever had. I contemplated getting another the next day before my flight it was so good. We hung out a little more, checked out the table shuffleboard (awesome game) and then hung out outside for a little where they have some nice shaded tables set up. Overall, this place was awesome and definitely worth the going to, you won’t be disappointed.

Great food, poor service, weird management. First of all the food was great. I don’t drink beer, but was told the brew was fabulous. Our service was slow and inattentive. I had a minor complaint about beverage choices and the manager was, in response, weird and defensive . . . basically stayed for ten minutes telling me why my complaint was wrong . . . finally I thanked him, noted my lack of satisfaction with his response. He stayed re-explaining until I had to ask him to leave so that my friend and I could finish our food. Even then he sat a few more minutes. Really was very odd. If you LOVE beer probably all worth putting up with. Won’t be for me.

Two-hour wait!. Sat night we arrive at 6 pm and ask for a table for 6 and are told 30 minutes. We ordered some beers and enjoyed them immensely. The food was also very good when we finally got it. But we didn’t get a table till 8 pm. Although there are plenty of tables for 2 & 4, larger groups have to wait. We won’t be back.

Short rib was dry, and tough, the food in general lacked seasoning. As well the music was so loud it was over powering. Staff was friendly but over all we were disapointed. I doubt we will be back

Best of both, well used to be. I’m a beer geek. You’ll never have the best beer of your life here. What you will have is some well done, interesting food, paired with a nice range of some good solid brews. A respectable combo of craft beer AND nice food in Cincinnati. Nice outdoor patio area in the warmer months too.Update 2014….inattentive service on the patio on a non-crowded Saturday afternoon. Food was average, beer was working on pedestrian. They need to spruce things up a bit. First two trips in 2013 were very good, third was less so. Today ended it for me.

Beermosa? Yes please!. I recently visited Fifty West for brunch and beermosas. The food and service were great. It is obviously they take a lot of pride in having a unique menu and atmosphere. Look forward to going back for beer flights!

LIke It a Lot. Great to see this brewery in the old Heritage place. Liked the beer and the tapas, but loved the table shuffleboard game. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Will definitely be back.
