WoRsT Service Ever!. We went to Game On tonight for a family celebration. I had never been there and was looking forward to it as I love trying different bar and pub foods. Our waitress looked like a deer in headlights. She couldn’t handle the business. We were one large group with several checks. No one’s food was brought out at the same time. My food came out AFTER my entire family had gotten their food and finished it!– This after I had to ask for my food multiple times. How hard is it to make a simple cheese quesadilla?We will never return to this place. I wish I had heeded the other reviews I had seen about this place!
Bad Bad Service. I am quite sure I have never had such bad service, I have heard about nightmares but I lived it at Game On! I have been there a few times with my wife but this last visit WILL be our last. Our waitress was fairly new so we were patient but being new does not allow you to completely ignore our table all night while we sat with empty drinks, meanwhile you laugh it up with a table of guys that I have seen from Quaker Steak and Lube on Bike NIght! As a matter of fact they looked like they were drinking water…..Seriously we had to sit empty while the jersey shore waitress had a little flirting party with a group of guys drinking water???? I thought I was being punkd! So Game On, with your new hires I suggest you spend a little more time training them on their job….not mindless chatter with the guys drinking water….actually providing customer service to the paying guests. We even asked for a manager and we were told they have no manager???REALLY???
Good burgers and $3 tall Hudepohl. I’ve eaten there four times now and the burgers are consistently good. They come out cooked the way I ordered every time, unlike many places that cook their meat to death no matter how you order it. I can’t say much about anything else on the menu though. The chili is straight out of a Hormel can and I got a teriyaki chicken hoagie once that was like something from a school cafeteria. It also seems that they try to cheap out on little things like no condiments on the table and giving you one flimsy napkin. Give me a bottle of ketchup with my fries instead of a plastic cup that is never big enough. The service seems a bit impersonal as well. Tall Hudepohl drafts for $3 and good burgers will keep me coming back.UPDATE: Since the Y beer came to Ohio, Game On doesn’t have Hudepohl on draft anymore. I’ve noticed that at a few places around town and I think it’s a shame. The food has also disappointed me lately and I find myself only going to Game On to drink beer when the super hot bartender is working. When she quits, they’re in trouble.
I would have say that my experience was horrible. The food looked and tasted like it was microwaved. The service was poor,but the beer was cold.
