This was my last stand at Custer’s.. Back in 1977, I played Little League baseball sponsored by Northside Tavern. General Custer’s also sponsored their own Little League team. We used to SMASH this team on a regularly basis, and THEN go to Custer’s Ice Cream stand to celebrate, because coach was obnoxious like that. LOL. This place looks EXACTLY the same as it did back then. They don’t appear to have done a damn thing to revamp the place. We played 18 holes of Putt-Putt and I felt like I was in a time capsule. The young cat attending the place was very nice though…so nice that he let some of his buddies in for free. I didn’t want to go, but DMuse already purchased a Groupon and being the Queen of Frugal, there was no damn way she was gonna waste it. She didn’t read the reviews before she purchased it…stuff happens. We didn’t have Ice Cream there though. We went to Orange Leaf on Glenway instead. Orange Leaf is the bomb. Hee hee hee..
