Best place ever. Great ice cream, great times, and a nice place. I got funny pics with the chimp and I’ve seen many other people taking pictures with the chimpanzee. This place has it all.Thanks
Seriously?. The owner has a chimpanzee that he ties to one of the picnic tables. He warns everyone to keep their children away because said chimp hates kids. Dude, you own an ICE CREAM STAND. Scary.

The Greatest Ice Cream In The Tri-State Area. So I was driving south on US 50 and seen a billboard with a giant burger on it advertising the Ice Box Dairy Bar. It happen to be on my way to Aurora Indiana. I travel this route about 2-3 times a week and usually stop at flavors in aurora. I have to tell you guys whoever reads the reviews on this site that this is the VERY BEST strawberry shake I have had in forever. Please if your in the area check this place out. I have read the reviews on here and have to say this place does exceed other similar type ice cream places. Check it out !
Amazing ice cream ! Great burgers ! First class creamy whip !. I found this place while watching a movie at the Greendale Movie Theater. A commercial plays before the movie. I visited the ICE BOX DAIRY BAR after the matinee movie, I ordered a cheeseburger, onion rings and a draft root beer. I waited 5 minutes inline to place my order and received my burger 8 minutes later. Trust me it’s well worth the wait. Large portions, great taste and newer clean establishment. My husband and I have become regulars. Great place to wash your car and they have plenty of bouncy houses for the children too.
