Service was absolutely terrible. The restaurant said you were required to call ahead for reservations. We got there and the restaurant was empty. We waited nearly 10 minutes for service before someone reluctantly came over. I asked about the half price specials, clearly stated on the website and he told me that the website could be made up and he doesn’t know of any specials. We decided to leave. I will never return to this restaurant and if we’re lucky they’ll go out of business and make room for a more reputable restaurant with better customer service.
Good food yet terrible service. You’ll have a waiter (for drinks, orders, etc.) and then a separate hibachi grill chef to prepare it all. The servers are terrible! Our one server – Brandon (tall, black, with glasses)- said he had been working there since 2005. Yet I had to beg for refills, get up AGAIN to ask for the check, boxes, etc. He was so lazy! I was disgusted that with a simple party of SIX people, they included an 18% gratuity. This is why I think he was so lazy; he tip was guaranteed with the bill. AVOID THE AUTOMATIC 18% GRATUITY AND MAKE THEM SERVE YOU RIGHT! Split your bill if you have to, but the service given by Brandon was unacceptable.
Great family place. top notch sushi!. I’ve lived in the area and it took me forever to get here. The service was good and the atmosphere was great. The bartender was very personable. The sushi rolls were great. Definitely recommend.
