Very disappointed. Food was mooshy, greasy, and tasteless. Egg roll tasted like it spent too much time in the freezer before it was fried. Should have listened to others.
The only time this place is busy, is for their cheap a** lunch buffet and crappy Christmas dinner (because they are one the few restaurants even open). The food is awful, the service is worse. And the sad thing is the family that owns this place has their original restaurant up on Fields Ertel Rd., it is a hole in the wall (with food and service that embarrass the other location). Johnny Chan 2 is Two minutes from my house, I would rather drive the Twenty minutes any day even sit in traffic to go to Johnny Chan 1 over number 2. Disgusting place

Just a thought…. Jalin 101, obviously you had a truly bad experience, and there is no excuse for this poor service. Let me just say that I have been to Johnny Chan 2 many times, and I have NEVER had poor service. In fact, I have rarely seen a group of people who try harder to please.I might guess that it was Christmas Day, folks called off and they were radically short-staffed, and scrambling like hell. Granted they didn’t handle it well.My experience here has never been bad. I think we should cut them some slack on this holiday.21 Jun, 2010Like JC2. I really like this place. WAITED OVER AN HOUR, NO FOOD, WORST SERVICE EVER!!!. Ordered three basic entrees and two appetizers for carryout at 6pm on Christmas. Was given a 45 minute pickup time. Arrived at 6:45 and order wasn’t ready because the kitchen was backed up. Waited until 8;00 and order never did come out. They just kept making excuses.. Worst experience ever. Called them to let them know I would be leaving them a lousy review and they were still taking carryout orders that they couldn’t fill.
Not a fan. Ate their last night with 3 friends. Chicken with green beans very bland. Shrimp special ok but overly spicy. Many other better chinese options in town.
Very Good Food!. The food was fantastic and we got take out! Ordered the hunan beef and singapore chow mei fun. Everything tasted fresh and not weighted down with tons of greasy sauce like some places. Atmosphere was very friendly and inviting. Definitely the place to go for Chinese!
