Did not want to seat us because we were using groupon. We showed up and asked for a table for 2. The hostess was about to seat us and found out that we were using our groupon. She said we had to make reservations for groupon. I informed that we drove 30 mins to get to the restaurant and we wouldn’t mind sitting at the bar. The bar was literally empty with 2 customers. She said they were busy and we had to make a reservation. But she was going to seat us before finding out we had a groupon? We asked how we had to wait for a reservation and it would take 45 mins. We decided to leave. I wished they treated all customers the same regardless whether there was a groupon. Very disappointing. Poor customer service. I will come back to use my groupon but properly will not return.
The TERRIBLE service overshadows everything here!!! The food is just okay, but it’s totally overpriced. I wouldn’t have been so appauled if the servers weren’t so rude.
Horrible service. Medium rating because it is great and awful at the same time. The food is delicious at this restaurant, but I have been there twice in the last month and the service was horrible. The first time, our server supposedly walked out, no one came to take his place, and when I finally got someone, our order had been misplaced. I had taken a friend there for her birthday and so we didn’t leave but we spent almost two hours in all. The second time, after we had been seated, no one came to do anything. My husband had to walk around the restaurant to find someone to help us. There were apologies both times, but this is just not worth it.
Went for a weekday lunch. It was the first time I’ve had Korean and it was good. I would go back again.
Awful.. My husband and I went there for lunch on the weekend. It was off peak time and we and other table were the only ones. Ordered bibimbob and the rice was clearly dried out in the rice cooker, even hard to chew since it was so hard in some parts. the food came in the aluminum yellowish bowl. service was good, but what would that do when the food was bad. my husband beef dish was so skimpy. spent about 30 bucks for lunch to be just upset at the end. will never go back.
Yowsa!. Didn’t know what to expect when I ventured here for the 1st time. Played it save with Teriyaki Chicken. A friend suggested the dolsot bibimbap and once I tried it I was instantly hooked. Man this is a good dish. Varying flavors, textures, spices (spiced to your taste), colors. The only meal that gets hotter, the longer it takes you to eat it (heat hot, not spice). The hot stone bowls make the rice crunchy which is one of my favorite parts. The 5 sides are different and compliment the meal well. Kimchi is always a part of the sides. A bit too pricey to eat there weekly which is probably good or else I would be there more often. Can’t wait to return.
Always a Good Choice. Haven’t had a bad meal in the 12+ times we’ve been there in the last year. Took some Korean guests who were visiting from out of town. They liked the food, and they weren’t just being polite about it. Service has always been prompt and helpful, and as I am not experienced in Korean cooking I appreciate the wait staff’s help at K-House.
