First visit. Just a little eatery at the back of a Mexican food/goods store. Simply authentic. Delicious steak tacos, yummy beans & rice. You can buy all the Mexican specialties to go (deli-fresh meats, fruits, snacks, drinks, etc.) I remember from my many vacations. The dining experience is complete with Mexican TV playing, including your favorite soaps! 😉
Awesome food!. This is one of the most amazing secrets of Cincinnati! My family loves real mexican food, and this place fits the bill.! They have their own butcher area and everything is fresh and very affordable.
Very flavorful and moist the Pastor is my favorite meat choice. I love buying their pre-marinated meats for a cheap and easy way to make a great meal at home too.
Authentic secret restaurant. The Sopes are very good, the burritos are huge and so are the Tortas. All three I have tried and really liked them. This is real authentic Mexican food. It’s also a grocery store/eat in. It’s not pretty but it is pretty cool. Fresh produce/meats and baked goods along with everything you’d ever need to cook Mexican food. On the menu is steak, chicken, lamb, tongue, tripe, chorizo, pork, pastor, ham. They serve soups, tacos (2 torillas w/meat onions and cilantro), huaraches, sopes, burritos (chipotle size), tortas (sandwich), quesadillas, fajitas. This isn’t taco bell or some americanized mexican restaurant.
Amazing!. Who would’ve thought that the best Mexican in town is hidden in a non-descript Colerain Mexican tienda. The food was fresh, the ingredients authentic (including birria, lengua and tripe among the regulars) and the prices very reasonable. I look forward to having it again very soon.
