With standard Cincinnati Mexican restaurant fare, the food is good, the service is reasonably attentive, and the prices tend to be a bit on the high side. La Pinata’s most capturing feature is its brightly colored booths, tables and chairs.
All the guys there care about is getting in your spouses pants beware guys!!!!!!!!. Went there with friends and family then me and my spouse took a liking to the place and we went all the time then behind my back the manager son was hitting on my wife behind my back just watch out guys these workers are a bunch of players.
Very, Very, Very Disappointed. My husband and I went to La Pinata on May 30, 2014. I had the craving for some good Mexican food however didn’t want to go far from home, mistake number one. We went to La Pinata and I requested the outdoor seating since it was a wonderful day . We were greeted by the staff( floor manager and host) , very nice. However they indicated that the waiter we would have was very good, NOT! He was rude,slow and very inattentive, so much so we decided to leave, we paid for our drinks and left. However he seemed to make it to all the other tables twice before coming back to ours. Hmmm. Can we say NOT HAPPY! Needless to say that is the last time we are going there. My coworker just told me about Chewys in Kenwood, so we will try that.
Favorite Mexican in Colerain. This is a great basic Mexican restaurant in Stone Creek Plaza behind Five Guys burgers. Most of the crew is from the old Ximilco that closed. Very popular for ladies groups, good drinks. Wide variety of menu items. I would give it $$ if you get a drink and a good dinner item. I spend between $12-$20 at least. Haven’t had a bad meal yet.
Lunch Daily. My favorite place to eat in Cincinnati. Great service and delicious food. What could be better? Daily dining at La Pinata never gets old. We love you guys. Just like family!

Oscar Meyer hotdogs used in place of Chorizo. Really, actually found hot dog in place of chorizo. My taco tasted like it was recycled from the kitchen sink and the chicken quesadilla was absolutely horrible. Good luck if you go here. Have fun.
