Hoagie!. Contrary to the post here, McDog’s does NOT sell burgers. They have pizza, and hoagies. I stopped after a work meeting for lunch with some colleagues. The owner told us they didn’t sell enough food to keep anything fresh, so they have frozen JTM patties for the hoagies, and a generic canned sauce from The Restaurant Depot. There was something about his brutal honesty that was refreshing. I ordered a hoagie with mushroom sauce. I enjoyed it! It was at least as good as, and probably better than, any steak hoagie I’ve ever had from LaRosa’s – which says something about either the quality at McDog’s or LaRosa’s… Not sure which…
