Great spot for bbq. The hours are limited so make sure to check their website or Facebook before stopping out. My go to is the Mac and cheese, wings with the g funk sauce and the ribs. We love have lunch and then getting ice cream or a shake afterwards. This is a place worth checking out.

Out of the way but worth the detour. The first thing you need to know about this place, as I write this, is their very limited hours. They are closed Mon-Wed, closed between 2 and 5 on Thur and Fri, and really only open what I’d call typical restaurant hours on Saturday and SundayThe second thing you need to know about this place is that the items you need to come here for – the bbq meats – are only available Saturday and Sunday. The third thing you need to know is after you find this place in Camp Dennison kinda near the Schoolhouse Restaurant, is that the seating is very limited and the parking is even more limited. After all that, you might think I really don’t like this place. But you’d be wrong. There is a lot to like here. The ribs, the smoked turkey, and the wings are excellent. The menu says the wings are smoked and fried, but I detected no smoke on them. The ribs had a nice smokey flavor with a prominent smoke ring, a very good rub, tender and moist; and to make things better you they offer it not only in the typical half and full slab, but also as a single bone, making it inexpensive to try out. The smoked turkey was a surprise star, with a deeply smokey flavor and an excellent rub, very tender, very juicy. I would gladly return for the turkey by itselfThe pulled pork, pulled chicken, and the brisket all had good flavor but were a bit dry, especially the brisket. I recommend ordering the brisket fatty to compensate for this a bitTheir bbq sauce is on the sweet side, very mild, no heat. I detected more than a hint of mustard in it, so if you dont like the flavor of mustard, you may not like thisI tried the bbq nachos, and while they sounded promising these were disappointing – basically the same sort of chips and bland nacho cheese you’d get at a convenience store or a baseball game plus some pulled pork or pulled chicken. The only side I tried was the macaroni and cheese, and it was the baked custard style rather than the creamy style. Decently good, but not something I’d order again I wanted to try the deep fried hotdog but did not have the stomach space. They have some pies and cakes on the menu, but none were available at the time of my visit. I was told that when they do have them available, they are all made in house. There was also a big display case with labels indicating homemade candies – but the case was empty. Half the store is taken up by a long freezer case full of Hershey brand ice creams, and all the stuff needed to make malts, sundaes, cones, sodas, and etc. I did not try any of this. The folks behind the counter were friendly and answered all of my many questions. I noted them accommodating more than one special request – items not on the menu for which they had the necessary ingredients. That said, after I noted they had bbq meats available by the pound and thought about taking a half pound to go, they were unwilling to sell it in increments other than full pounds. That is of course their right to do, but given how easy it’d be to measure out and sell, I dont understand why they’d choose to lose a sale this way. Bottom line – definitely worth a stop

Has a good smoke flavor. Had the brisket and pulled pork and neither was dry. The sauce was extremely tasty. Would recommend this BBQ place to anyone who loves BBQ.

Holy Smoke. This is good BBQ. Pork, wings, chicken, turkey, and brisket all smoked on premises. Served hot every Saturday. Homemade desserts and Hersheys ice cream to boot. Catering too. Come on down and see Nichole Tim, Debbie, Robyn, Mary and Abby
