This location is not quite as good as the Montgomery location. It will do in a pinch, but the food seems to be hit or miss. Sometimes it’s really good and other times it’s quite lackluster. If you’re into waffles and pancakes, I think those are the best options here. gotheretrythat.com
Recommended.. Tastey with a capital taste. Whopping omelettes are well worth the extra wait. Do your tounge a flavor here , get the strawberry waffles with genuine whipped cream. They’ll make your eyes cross. In a good way. Annnnd, a really big fish tank. Hey why not. Only bug I have with OPH is their strangely stingy ketchup portions. Vexing.
My husband and I have eaten here many times. The regular pancakes are amazing and really need no syrup. The apple pancake is huge! It’s the size of a dinner plate and so indulgent. The first time eating here the chef brought out 2 versions for us to try (at no charge) because they were experimenting with adding different fruits. I love love love the geotta and eggs and my husband loves the southwest omelette. I think he has had it 3 or 4 times. They are always super busy on the weekends so we like going during the week but an early Sunday morning visit isn’t out of the question. This is also the only place I’ve been that has fresh squeezed OJ….like truly fresh squeezed. This place is worth the visit!

The Best Pancake Ever. I went in for breakfast and ordered the Apple Pancake with a scoop of cinnamon ice-cream and a ham steak on the side.It was the best pancake I’ve ever had in my entire life. It was huge, 12 inches in diameter and 6 inches thick. It was piping hot and tasted awesome. I could only eat about half of it before I got full and the other half that I took home made a great dessert later that night. I can’t wait to go back.
