Awesome breakfast! Awesome service! Ordered my home fries my way & they were very accommodating, If I lived closer this would definitely be a favorite place to eat! Lots of friendly locals visiting, even hoping from table to table and the waitresses calling them by name which is probably the best sign of a great home town resturant.

Really excellent homemade food. I would like to see the service be a bit more attentive though.

A must try!. Perfect little hole in the wall place with friendly, attentive staff and phenomenal breakfast food. Could’ve had a bigger coffee cup but the waitress kept it filled so it worked and the quality was top notch.

Great home cooking, great price–well worth my 40 minute drive. My lunch was fantastic! I had the grilled chicken sandwich, with perfectly cooked bacon and tomato on a hot soft, delicious roll. I highly recommend the cherry pie, too–tender, flaky crust and perfect amount of sweetness. Both the sandwich and the pie were of generous size at a very reasonable price. I found the service friendly and efficient. MWMCincinnati

Name holds true. Took my Dad here for breakfast on a Saturday morning. Our family has always loved breakfast from the local diner with fried eggs and variety of meats, etc. you know a good old fashioned greasy breakfast platter for five bucks..the sweetheart cafe is more than that. It is tucked away in the corner of a dying strip mall like many great hole in the wall venues, but as long as you can find it you will fall in love. It has a steady flow of regulars, being greeted by name sitting around shooting the bull; it has homemade menus tied together with a bow and teapots from Pinterest; the owner was floating around taking orders, putting up baked goods and enjoying some knitting while sitting with customers. Even if that is not your preferred atmosphere I still recommend you try it once for the food. For under $20 bucks our meal included a bacon (plenty of it), egg and cheese biscuit (the biscuit was definitely homemade fresh that morning and fell apart-melt in your mouth), three pancakes with fresh butter and homemade blueberry preserves and an order of goetta, two fresh fruit cups with strawberries, pineapple and grapes, coffee and tea (they have a basket full of tea choices). I badly wanted to indulge in the fresh made cinnamon buns, but my self restraint won that battle. They have daily muffin and soup menus and I hear a cupcake comes with every boxed lunch…
