Shocked and very Disappointed. Tags WAS one of our favorite local diners. We went this morning for breakfast as we do at least 4 times a month only to be totally ignored. The server never acknowledged us when we walked in. The other girl have an almost smile. We sat there for a few minutes. We watched the server clean the table next to us. She still never even looked our way. We sat for awhile longer. We watched 2 customers come and get there carry out orders TAKEN. WE CONTINUED TO WAIT TO BE ACKNOWLEDGED . The 2nd carry out customer noticed that we still had not been waited on ….not even acknowledged by the server…the other gal at least looked our way. The customer at the counter was as surprised as we were at the lack of service. Needless to say enough is enough. We finally got up and left. They may be doing a good amount of business at this time but with service like we received they will slowly lose their customers and another building will be of lease. We will find another local diner to patronize. I always recommended TAGS TO OTHERS. I WORK IN THE HOSPITALITY FIELD AND AM IN THE POSITION TO RECOMMEND LOCAL BUSINESSES. IN THE FUTURE TAGS WILL NOT BE ONE OF THEM!

Best cafe in Cincinnati! Food is amazing as is the service. We are blessed to have Tag’s so close to our home. The owner has put her heart & soul into this place. Everything is top notch! Healthy, delicious meals. Totally reasonable prices. My favorite item is the turkey, bacon club. Soups are amazing! Everything is great! The cafe has a comfy feel and is so kid-friendly. I just wish it was opened for dinner more often. I love Tag’s!!
Great local lunch spot. Tag’s is a great spot for a morning cup of joe. It also serves a strong Reuben sandwich. I must hail the potato salad as one of the best i’ve had in cincinnati, its not too mayonaisse-y. I almost exclusively order either the Reuben or the Turkey club on visits to Tag’s, both are tremendous. I’m looking forward to sampling more of their menu in the upcoming months.
Good place to get a good meal. Some will complain about service being a little slow, you want fast go to McDonalds. You want good food or Great Chicken salad go to Tag’s! This is a family owned business and it shows, they actually talk to you without asking you if you want fries with that and yanking the money from your hand. My kids like their menu and eat the mac-n-cheese or PBJ’s. Take any negative reviews with a grain of salt as those who complain usually had a bad day or life anyway.
Just know things seem to be done one table at a time so there may be a long wait for everything. We found everything to be mediocre especially the microwaved Mac n cheese. However the rolls made there were pretty awesome and prices are very reasonable.
