Decent Chinese food for a quick place. Nice staff too.
June 2011. The lady was friendly, and I usually go to China Fun since it is closer. I tried their fried wonton today and their hot and sour soup. The wontons were really disappointing. They were basically a pound of fried dough surrounding an inch long strip of beef jerky. No moisture whatsoever. The soup was too sweet, I much prefer China Fun’s spicier version. Overall the best part was the diet coke that I paid 1.45 for…
An Ill Wind. I returned to China Wind having previously enjoyed the schezuan beef and shrimp fried rice and generally friendly service. I won’t be returning. I walked in and the proprietor was having dinner at a table with other employees. No big deal. He gets up, takes my order and proceeds to the kitchen. He comes back out and asks the guy at the table for the bowl of rice at their table. I don’t have to understand chinese to figure that this would be my rice he would microwave and hand to me.Never again. Who knows what else they are recycling.
