Steamed Dumplings. Good !!!
Hidden Gem. A coworker and I ate here on 12/20/13. The first thing we noticed was the multitude of cars in the parking lot. With good reason I might add. The kitchen kept the hot food flowing throughout our visit. There was a large variety of very tasty dishes.The steamed dumplings were some of the best I have ever tasted!!! I’ll be back!!!

The Best Chinese Food in Licking County. Heath, Ohio. We have been eating at East West for a couple of years. It has gotten better and better. The buffet has been expanded and has worthy examples of authentic Cantonese food for their Chinese customers and, I choose to believe, for me. There are also the dishes we have come to expect. Today, my husband said that the hot and sour soup was the best he has eaten. Our friend from China pointed out the real Chinese food. The typical chestnut dessert was delicate and lovely. Mei Fun is my favorite noodle dish and it was just plain perfect! There are also many other items for those who don’t want to eat Asian food. And Velvet Ice Cream that is very nice with the Chinese Donut for dessert. Yes, the food god, Zao Jun, has smiled down upon this nice Chinese restaurant. You will be smiling too.
<3 IT!!. I tried this place about 3-4 months ago. I love it! I come back, seriously, 3 times a week. You can tell its a family establishment, they take GREAT pride in everything they do. They are so sweet & kind. I call in & they know me by name. They make sure the food is always fresh & hot. They are always so personable, I cant help keep coming back (although the sweet & sour chicken is the best Ive had in Newark so I would probably come back even if they were not so kind. They are also always making improvments to the restraunt. They just added a beautiful bar. By far the best dining experience, ever!!
Various dishes. This restaurant is wonderful! My friends and I shared so we could try many things. They have the absolute BEST Crab Rangoon I’ve ever had! I also tried the Orange Chicken with Steamed Rice and tasted my friend’s Beef Fried Rice. They were both excellent! The food is made fresh and with no MSG. The restaurant has been totally redone inside and is beautiful and very clean! The owners are very nice and their daughters who waited on us were very kind, helpful and always had a big smile for us. Definitely recommend it!
