LOVE IT!!! Was taken here for a birthday dinner last week by my wonderful mother in law. First time dear hubby and I had ate here. Food was EXCELLENT and plentiful. LOVED the shrimp. Great service. And our chef was very entertaining and so nice. Loved it so much I’m taking my mother, daughter and mother in law there for lunch tomorrow and hopefully every Sunday from here on out.
DISAPPOINTMENT BIG TIME. I am new to Heath/Newark area. I love Japanese steakhouse so I decided to call in for dinner and pick it up after my errands tonight. When calling my order in I heard the receptionist say medium rare on my steak and I corrected her to say medium. I said this twice.. when I cut into the steak it was medium rare. The salad and soup were really good other than the lid for the soup didn’t match the bowl so the entire container poured all over my dinner. A tiny bowl of fried rice ( which is normally my favorite part of the meal) and the veggies they were good but I have never had carrots and brocoli in my Japanese veggies. For 24.00 I could have went home and made this myself. Next time I want Japanese Steakhouse.. I will pick it up in Columbus after work.
Last post is upsetting. Due to the fact this place has wonderful service, a great atomosphere, and the best food in heath/newark area. Every good restaurant is going to be busy on new years, it’s a given. Tokyo is hands down the first place I go when I want a low priced large meal that tastes good to!
Fantastic. Great food. Great entertainment from the chef. Great atmosphere!!!! Prices are very good for what you get.
Wonderful!. Went for lunch….wonderful atmosphere. Our server was great…very personable and courteous. Answered all of our questions pleasantly. Food….delicious! Two thumbs way up!!!
Great experience!. I love this restaurant! I have eaten there three times now and it has been amazing each time. The sushi is great and well priced, and the hibachi is delicious. Plus the interior is really pretty. It is the best place in Newark for anniversaries/birthdays/proms. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.
The hibachi experience was outstanding and our chef was hilarious. The food was super tasty and reasonably priced. Tons of sushi to try and was the the perfect place to celebrate special occasions. Easily the nicest place in the newark-heath area
