Customer Service. I came in and wanted to buy a small or medium size Chicago stype popcorn and asked if there was any available. Atleast three people were working at the time and I was the only customer in the shop. I was told they only make one size of that particular flavor of popcorn. I asked if they considered making other sizes. I was told no due to limited counter space. I then left. I was willing to wait the 2 minutes it would take to put some of the Chicago style into a medium or small bag for me as you would order any of type of food that was made in bulk and then pay accordingly. There was a very large container of that exact flavor popcorn sitting behind the counter, ready to be pacakaged and sold. I am not sure if I have ever had my money and business turned away so easily. It was very very odd that a small business would be so inflexible and unwilling to sell their product to a customer.

So fun!. If you haven’t stopped by Patty’s Old Fashioned Popcorn yet, you should! Their popcorn is delicious and made fresh. We tried their cookies and cream popcorn and their caramel popcorn, and both flavors were delicious. What a fun new addition to Hyde Park Square – we will be back!
Fabulous!. I love this place! The decor has a very authentic feel, there is even a carousel horse in the front! They have several flavors of popcorn including unique flavors that you can only get at Patty’s, like Oreo cookie popcorn. My favorite is the kettle corn. They are open every day of the week and prices are very reasonable. They also sell tins you can buy to fill with popcorn for gifts. I will be back again and again. I love it! What a great idea to open a popcorn shop. I can’t think of another one like it in Cincinnati, they really are a one of a kind.
