Rudeness. Can you say incredibly rude?? Unfortunate. Excellent wine, good prices, good food, good atmosphere. Service, uh, meh. Not friendly, not welcoming. The overall attitude seems to be we are BUSY!!! Don’t you understand?? I don’t have time for you. The worst was having one of the managers standing over us, pointing to us, indicating we were leaving soon. When we didn’t leave immediately, he persisted, called over the person who I believe is the owner so they could both glare and point. He had the people waiting for the table come in, pointed to us, indicating we were keeping them from their table!!! Inexcusable. I am a good customer, will recommend, come back, very loyal but this was blatant rudeness. Stereotypical Hyde Parkian rude, snobby behavior, and I live here! I talked to the gentleman before I left telling him his behavior was not cool, he said, well, we’re busy. There were other seats and bar seats, by the way. What a disappointment.

Our service was horrible, our server knew nothing about the wine list (which really doesn’t have that many types of wines, which we thought was weird for a wine bar). The manager or owner came by our table to drop off our glasses of wine and asked if we wanted waters, our party of 4 said yes and he never returned or acknowledged us. We decided to leave and spend our money elsewhere. I do not recommend.

Great Fathers Day Brunch. A big thanks to Derek and his staff for a Fathers Day brunch I’ll never forget. My boys and I had a great time. Great staff and so patient albeit they probably dont deal with twin 5 yr olds on any given day. I think you’ve won over two new customers!28 Apr, 2013Great First Visit. I was introduced to Undwind this afternoon by my lovely female company. While I didn’t have much of an appetite and only had decaf, I did sample her Belgium waffles and they were great. The service was great (Chris) and if all goes well… WE will definitely be back….. and next time I’ll bring my appetite.
The only wine bar in the area that combines good wines, great ambiance, friendly and knowledgeable service. Will only improve when the weather turns and the patio is open. Owners are attentive and passionate about their customers experience. Will be back regularly
Fantastic wine bar, stopped in on Saturday for the wine tasting. We had a great time and we got to taste 6 of there upper tier wines for only $15, along with small bites, what a value ! The ambiance is awesome with a great vibe to go with it. Our favorite place, we will be back real soon !
