My son and I arrived at Melt about 7:30 on Friday night. We were told there would be 30-40 minute wait. There were three gentlemen running the host area and were not overly friendly. When we were seated our waitress Audrey was very sweet. The menu was interesting, the backs were old album covers and the menu was on the front. We started out with the fried macaroni and cheese appetizer ($9.50) which came out almost immediately. The appetizer was very good. We decided to split the whole monte Cristo sandwich ($12.50). The sandwich and fries took a little while to come out, when it arrived we knew we had made a good choice to split the sandwich. It was huge! There was a lot of bread and breading compared to meat and cheese ratio, but was still good. The fries were a lightly seasoned fries, but tasted like they had been out of the fryer a little while. The restaurant was really cool looking with a big neon sign inside and lots of plastic light up seasonal lawn ornaments. Melt was very loud, lots of people talking over each other and it sounded like someone kept dropping a bus tub in the kitchen.
