Ronnie and Mindy are the best. I use to only go to the restaurant as I wasn’t a big fan of delis, especially in Dayton (are there really any real delis in Dayton?). But a couple of work colleagues go me going, and now I almost exclusively go to the deli. Everything, and I mean everything is good: ribs, bbq chicken, pizza (my favorite), subs, sides, etc, etc. However the true and most meaningful difference is Ronnie and Mindy. They are so friendly and engaging. Now of course being a regular they always speak to me and my wife, but I observe every time I go that they speak with everyone, regulars and first timers. However they seem to have a lot of regulars, something that says a lot.

Just had one of the best Italian sub sandwiches ever. Also got a pound of imported prosciutto that looks very good. Great service, too. Very friendly.
The Best Italian Food In Dayton. DiSalvo’s Deli is the place to eat the best and most authentic Italian food in all of greater Dayton. No one puts more care and love into his food than Ronnie.
BEST pizza in Dayton. Rinaldo knows how to make the pizza pie. Each day he makes two types of pizzas, a soup, and a pasta of the day for lunch. The Meatball sub is incredible, but I am a pizza guy and two slices of the Pepperoni and Capicola make my mouth water!!!
