Is a Rancho Grande reject, I cant rip this place enough, I think I can go into the kitchen and producer far better food than they do now…. this is Mexican food which needs recipes that work and can be duplicated everyday, this can be fixed, go for the service, good Hispanic food and replicate your best.Pass
I’ve had better. After a couple of recommendations to go to eat here, we thought we’d give it a try. As we entered the restaurant, I noticed that it did not exactly strike me as the nicest eatery I’ve ever been in. Proceed to our seats and presented our menus….some of the filthiest that I’ve ever held in my hands. After ordering, I excused myself to head to the bathroom to wash my hands. Food was adequate. Will we go back? Not likely! Maybe it was really an authentic Mexican experience. ….like in dirty Tijuana !!
Eh.. I can’t say anything was horrible. The service was fine. We didn’t wait long for our food. I ordered a frozen strawberry margaritas and it was passable. The food is just bland. I could not tell the difference between my husband’s burrito and my enchilada. Why was my plate so hot it was considered a fire hazard, but my food only medium warm? Won’t be going back.
Food is good. service is horrible. We used to go about once a week, but the service is horrible now. We no longer frequent this restaurant due to past experiences. We had to remind our waiter numerous times for our food and we had to keep sending our dinner back due to it being the wrong order. Such a dissapointment. It used to be a great restaurant. Management also doesn’t seem to care anymore
The beef tacos are not good. When asked how was everything and I told them the meat didn’t taste right and the don’t reply back to you. Won’t be back here again.
Spicy!. Our family loves the Kids Eat Free deal on Saturday night. The chips and salsa are awesome and the food is great. I am a little disappointed that the new chef seems to be making the meats a little spicer than before. It still tastes great, but I don’t enjoy my mouth being on fire after a couple bites. I thought it might just be a one time thing, but it’s been really spicy the last couple times we’ve been there. I will need to try the chicken or pork instead of the shredded beef (but it’s my favorite!) from now on and see if those options are less spicy to my taste buds. I am a big spice wimp. I wish I weren’t, because the food honestly does taste wonderful. I just can’t handle the burn afterward. 🙂 This is a great restaurant, great food, and friendly staff, but as I said, I will need to try other meats instead of the shredded beef.
As I write this review I am sitting in Los Reyes. This has to be the worst trip to a restaurant that I have ever had. My good came out cold and when I mentioned it to the server she tried to blame us. Wow. She couldn’t be bothered to bring a drink to our 2 year old. And when I wanted to speak to a manager she said the manager wasn’t here. Convenient. This was my first trip to Los Reyes after hearing many positive things. I promise after the treatment I received today it will be my last.
