Absolutely horrible service and spoiled tofu!!!I called on 8/20/2017 at 6:48pm for a delivery order, which I charged on a credit card, and was told it would be 20-25 minutes. It was not. At 7:38pm I called again and was assured that it would be 10-15 minutes. I called again at 8:03pm and was told that they were busy but it would be only 10-15 more minutes. I told them that if it wasn’t I they could keep their food and I expected my credit card to be refunded. At 8:30pm I called and told them to cancel the order. I was told over and over that it was on its way and they had put in free crab rangoons. I told them over and over that I expected a refund. First a man and then a woman insisted over and over that it would be at my house very soon. I told them that if they wanted to deliver the food they could but I still expected a refund due to the terrible service. The food arrived at about 8:45pm, more than 2 hours after I placed my order. The person delivering it said that the previous driver had gotten a flat tire. I never received a call about any delays due to busyness or flat tires. I told him to take his food and leave and I expected a refund. He said that they had just recooked the whole thing and his mother, the owner told him to leave it. I told him he could if he wanted to but I expected a full refund. He did leave it. At that point we were extremely hungry so tried the food. The tofu in one dish was spoiled! I waited to see if the charge and/or a credit went through. Today the charge went through but the credit did not. We visited Young Chow with all of the food that was left and demanded a refund. They refused, even though, in addition to the bad service they had given us spoiled food. We are now be pursuing this through our credit card company.
I ordered from Young Chow last evening. I placed an order for 3 combo meals and 3 wonton soups. The order was put in at 6:17 PM, and I did not receive the delivery until after 8:15 over two hours later. When the food arrived, the order was short 2 wonton soups and 2 sides of egg rolls. I called back and spoke with a manager about them sending out the missing food. I was told that they would have a delivery for the missing food sent out in the next 20 minutes. The missing food never showed so I contacted them again to discuss a refund. I was told that they had to speak with the owner about refunds and that they would call me back shortly. I called four more times over the next 16 hours before I finally got a concrete answer that they would not reimburse me for the ridiculous service I received. The food itself is very average. There are other places in the Dayton area that are both faster and have better quality food.
