El Taco Macho is not what it appears to be. Don’t judge it based upon its location in a bland strip mall. Don’t assume that it is just another TexMex place. It is anything but bland and familiar. Step inside to find a trendy and busy space. The menu is unlike other Mexican places in the area. They start you off with 2 types of salsa, one with nutmeg. Different, but really good. Our party tried a couple of burritos and a torta (Mexican sandwich). All were very good and seemed to be prepared from very fresh ingredients. All packed with great flavors…..so much going on! The place has a bar way in the back. Drinks were huge and packed a punch. Service was really efficient. Price was more than reasonable for the quality and quantity provided. Definitely a place to try and put on your list. I know we are planning on going back.
