Orderes a slab diner and a 1/2 slab diner. Was to dry to eat and the fries were terrible. I will never ever never never never go back there. Who puts rosemary on fresh cut fries??? Thanks for a horribke meal wish I would have eaten there so I could have gotten my money back. Wasover $30 we threw in the garbage. Do you know how bad a frie has to be cor kids not to eat them. Thats how bad they were. Sorry guys have no idea how your still in buisness.

Inconsistent. We relentlessly search for good BBQ so were thrilled first time we tried this. Brisket (my fav due to childhood in Texas ) was very good, pork close to N.Carolina caliber. Then we went another time and it tasted like warmed over meat. I THINK they added broth ir something and totally ruined the texture. To bad, probably won’t go back
Food was delicious. Service was great!The outside looks a little sketchy but the inside is clean and nice. Worth the drive from anywhere in Lake County for BBQ.
Awesome BBQ. That is if the owner is on Duty. I have eaten here many times and when the owner is on site the food is better then any place in Texas. When he is not in the building the food is horrible. Service is OK. It could really be a a 5 star if the quality was consistent.
I ordered the brisket dinner, with Mac & cheese, and pulled pork eggrolls. The brisket was tasty and moist, although the sauce was a little one-note, the eggrolls were delicious, BUT: the Mac n cheese was spoiled. I thought there was a strange smell, but before I could grab it, my niece dug in. She immediately spit it back out and said it tasted funny. I took a forkful and as soon as I put it in my mouth, I tasted the sourness. I then sniffed the container of it, and it smelled of pure spolied milk. I plucked a bit of bacon out and tasted it- even that tasted sour. How did they not catch that???This is my third or fourth time eating Smokes, and just like other reviewers said, Smokes is VERY inconsistent with quality. I don’t know if I’ll try them again- that Mac n cheese could have made my niece sick.
Food awesome about 50 for dinner for 2 people. Service is spotty drinks run dry all time. Food is the only thing keeping us from never coming back.
