A True Lakewood Gem!. I really don’t know what we did before Blackbird Baking Co. came to town. Well, I do know. We ate crummy, grocery store bought bread. We have since seen the light! My husband was initially put off by the price tag, but now he is absolutely addicted to the multi-grain. Their sweets will be my down fall and that rosemary foccacia is simply divine. Go in during the last hour of business and check out their happy hour where everything left is half price. It’s a great way to try something new.
Great way to start the day. I stop here at least twice a week before work. Love this place. I am addicted to the sticky buns and the apple galette. Great coffee and love taking a dozen cookies to the office. The macaroon is so moist.

Great Bakery. Blackbird Baking is, hands down, the best bakery for breads and pastries. Love their chocolate cherry bread and apricot croissants. The breads are phenomenal. Much better than Breadsmith. I do agree that the service could be friendlier, a smile does go a long way. Not rude or slow, just indifferent. It’s a bakery for goodness sake, the smell alone would put a smile on my face all day.
Perfection. If you want exquisite croissants, breads, and cookies, this is the place. It doesn’t get better than this.
Best Bakery in Cuyahoga County
Great food, not so friendly service. I am obsessed with Blackbird Baking Company’s food; everything I have ever eaten there has been amazing. Having said that, I agree with some of the reviewers that the service leaves something to be desired. The employees perform their work efficiently, but would it kill them to smile or behave in a friendly manner?
