A favorite carryout place. I’ve carried out from the Greek Village many times and eaten on the premises twice. They are geared towards carryout, not table service. I’ve been disappointed by the gyros only once, when the serving was dry and skimpy. Aside from that exception, I’d rate their gyros as pretty darn good, even amazing a couple of times. I like the super gyro, which is a three meat combination.A couple of years ago, I asked about gluten content for the benefit of a family member who has an intolerance. At the time, I was given a sketchy answer which inspired little confidence. I asked again recently, and the order taker was very knowledgeable about which products contained wheat, so I’ll probably be going there more often.
DO NOT ORDER DELIVERY. Have ordered online & by phone for delivery…each time our order has been shorted. The restaurant staff are trained to ignore & be unresponsive. Our last order was not only less (ordered Gyro meat) than what we ordered…it was all the leftover small, hard and dry leftover bits. It was supposed to be Gyro meat only…but, had bits of what appeared to be chicken, onions & old, wilted lettuce. Almost like it had been swept off of the floor. Attempts to resolve with restaurant were ignored…told that a manager would call, but never did. The third party (Eat24) online order processor offered a full refund & indicated that they may cease delivering for this restaurant due to numerous quality complaints & the restaurant owner/mgt’s refusal to resolve issues.
Late night. A good place to get a meal after a night out because they’re pretty quick and open late. Not the best greek food in the world but very decent! Huge pita sandwiches. They sometimes mess up and forget to put a thing or two on my sandwich but I still keep coming back. The spicy feta dip is simply amazing.
Food is ok, wonder about prep and cleaning. The food at the Greek Village Grille, 203 E Royalton Rd, Broadview Hts, OH 44147 was ok. The Lamb on the Gyro was a bit dry. Everything looked good, and tasted ok, but when I took a closer look around I had to wonder about how clean they keep things, and if the owner cars about how his employees look. A dirty shirt with holes in it, means someone is not paying attention.
Overpriced Small Greek Salad. I ordered a small Greek salad to go for $5.00 and when I received it, it was much smaller than expected. About as large as a Wendy’s Side Salad. It looked good, but its not worth $5.00 for such a measly portion. It should be $3.50 – $4.00 at best. It’s way overpriced for the portion. You should lower the price as a friendly reminder.
Fantastic!!. Have had delivery twice now. Great food and real reasonable prices. Haven;t had a gyro like that since the 80’s in the flats after a night of drinking. Food got to my door inside of 15 minutes. Keep up the good work and we will see you again.
Ok food, awful service. The service at this location is the pits, the food was decent. Make sure you get everything you order and If you need a receipt, get it in advance or you will be out of luck.
