Worth it for the fries. Beer and food here overall are pretty good but the main reason that I keep going back is the fries! They’re SO good. Probably my favorite ever. They come with good dipping sauce, too. Service is always solid here and the burgers are pretty good, too!
Great Burgers. Like the Build your own Burgers here. I recomend the Chimichuri sauce on a burger. Burgers have a nice grilled flavor and the Meat is from TJ’s Butcher Block, so you know it’s quality. Good beers on tap and a nice atmosphere.
Reading the reviews of Plank Road Tavern, I was expecting a better experience. With that said, I will never return there again after the horrible service I had.The food was decent, but it took 15 minutes until a server even came to our table. The server we did have appeared to be a bartender who didn’t know what he was doing. He put the entire table’s food on one bill and said we could split it up ourselves. My appetizer came after our food and one person ate their entire meal before the others came out. Everyone liked their meals, but I would not recommend the spinach dip. It was runny and had no flavor.I’d recommend the martinis, but not going to eat there.
Great Service & Food. This is one of my regular eating & drinking places. On Thursdays they play live celtic music, and frequently have drink specials like pumpkin martinis which apparently a lot of bars have trouble making very well. I am reluctant to post positive feedback in the hopes not too many others discover this gem; because there is rarely a crowd and the service is great.
Good beer. Not happy with the food
Really good place. Had dinner there last night. Service was good, food was great. They had an Irish band last night- which is not something I would seek, but it was fine- actually kind of fun. Food is good, beer selection good. Place is cool. PLUS, they just got the OK for a patio, and it looks like it will be wonderful. Finally, they have super specials like every night- like monday is a burger AND a beer for $5!! I will be back. So should you.
