Area director. Reading the reviews thought my husband and I would give it a try. Sunday late breakfast we were not greeted and after we seated ourselves we waited a good 7 minutes before we asked someone to wait on us to which we were glared at. Restaurant was not busy which allowed the staff to entertain each other as I assume an employee was dining at the bar and everyone was conversing with them. The restaurant has a nice decor but an unpleasant wet mold smell. We ordered eggs bacon hashbrowns pancakes and the eggs Benedict. After 15 minutes pancakes were first served…rubbery texture.. then rest of order finally delivered. Poor quality of food and breakfast is an easy meal to prepare. No bill left at our table, which would have made the server check on the customers. Asked for bill at bar…fumbled around totaling up the bill . $27 for poor food so they expect high dollar for their products. Overpriced for the quality. 1 hour visit time. Restaurant was not busy. Sad we had a poor experience. We were looking forward to a good dining experience and like supporting the small business owner. Staff was not trained and didn’t seem to know how to interact with customers. Not everyone who cooks can run a restaurant as we experienced. We will not be back. Sad to spend all that money on remodeling and letting your help run away the customers with their incompetence.
Party of 6. I ate breakfast with my family today after church .we have ate at table one before and had a good experince ,however today the service was lacking ,it took over forty minutes to get are food and i recived i coffe cup with someones lips stick stains on it .after the waitress brought me another cup it to was dirty so then i started looking at the other items on the table and one of my kids drinking classes was also dirty along with the ketchup dispenser .another problem me and my family had was are food was cold and seemed like it had been done for awhile when we got it .as for these problems it seemed to be more of the cooks and cleaning staffs problems than the waitress .

Not a Fan. I have been to Table 1 two times. The first time I had their special Shepherd’s Pie and it was delicious. The broth was so flavorful and the meat was very tender. Since we had a good experience we decided to return this morning for breakfast. My husband and I both ordered their breakfast special of two eggs, choice of meat, hash browns and toast. When we first got there I ordered hot chocolate and a glass of water. Our waitress brought me my chocolate and literally a glass with less than 4 ounces of water in it. I thought, well, maybe they don’t have clean glasses but the very next person that came in was given a full size glass of water. I had to ask the waitress 3 times for more water. I ordered my eggs over MEDIUM which to me means that the white part is cooked, not runny and crispy bacon. When we received our orders, it initially looked pleasing but the minutes that I cut into my eggs I knew I couldn’t eat them. The whites were not cooked at all. On top of that my crispy bacon was black. I wanted to ask the waitress to return my eggs to have them cooked a little longer but it was a full 10-12 minutes before she came back to our table and it was to pick up my husbands clean plate. He doesn’t care whether his eggs aren’t cooked. By the time she asked if my food was OK I had lost my appetite. I will also agree with the other reviewers on the fact that the wait staff talks and visits too much. We had to go up to the counter and ask for our bill because they were so engrossed in their conversations.
Great independent restaurant in Lancaster. Table 1 is great! We’ve been there for breakfast, lunch and dinner and everything was good. If you’re in the mood for a terrific sandwich, try the pulled pork–very, very good. Glad they’re open. We need more restaurants like them!
Fish Sandwich Platter. Nicely breaded fish platter13 Nov, 2014Now open for dinner. Following startup of breakfast and lunch, Table 1 is open Tuesday through Saturday for dinner. Also a wine list soon. Expander menu too.
Good Food-Great Price. Great Value for Local Restaurant, but I would recommend ordering out. My experience as well as others have been turned off by the employees talking amongst themselves so loudly you can not carry on a conversation or enjoy your meal in a relaxing environment. We talked to the owner, he was extremely kind.
